Eastern Black Walnut

Excellent dark wood that pairs with maple well.

Ambrosia Maple

Our personal favorite.  These slabs offer a wide range of uniqueness.  Each slab is diferent.

Rainbow Poplar

Swirls of blue, green, red, and yellow that make these slabs unique to the WNC region

 

Sycamore

Unique interlocked grain structure that glistens.  The figuring can have the appearance of snake skin

 

American Red Elm

Rich and silky with reddish/brown tones with wonderful figure

White Oak  

Very dense hardwood with lighter tones and classic figuring

Cherry 

Bright red/brown hues.  Cherry looks the best once it develops a patina

Birch

Dense hardwood that's Similar to white oak but often has shades of light pink.

Osage Orange

Very dense and hard wood that's known for it's orange tones and figure

Ash

Strong and durable wood with straight grain and lighter tones.  Perfect for dining tables

Eastern Red Cedar

A soft wood known for it's intense reds and white sapwood contrast.  Smells good too

Honey Locust

Dense hardwood with rich browns that's known to withstand the test of time.

Species and availability change frequently.  We always carry maple, poplar, and walnut.  Other species rotate in and out throughout the year
